BLU and BLUD are axial automatic chain/belt tensioners designed to work in humid environments and in presence of corrosive agents.
BLU is composed by a box-shaped body made of plastic material in which a plastic column slides by being pushed by a galvanized or stainless steel spring.
BLU can be equipped with different kits: polyethylene sliding blocks, polyethylene wheelsets on a fork, plastic or steel sprockets on a fork, polyamide and zinc plated rollers on a fork or stainless steel rollers with protective shields on a stainless steel fork.
BLUD has the advantage to have two columns and develop twice the force compared to the base element. BLUD can be equipped with specific fastening clamps to facilitate its installation and it can also be equipped with a large bend radius sliding block to achieve a higher winding angle on the chain and with wide fittings to the side which favor the insertion and the exit of the chain even from the most angled positions.
BLU and BLUD are equipped with a preload system to facilitate assembly operations.
